The WineXpert Private Reserve is one of the best wine kits available, with 14 litres of concentrated grape juice, this WineXpert Private Reserve Pinot Gris makes an amazing bottle of wine that you would only fine in a dedicated wine seller.
This WineXpert Kits allows you to make 30 bottles of premium Pinot Gris. This grape juice is sourced from specialist vineyards and in this instance, it comes from the Yakima Valley in Washington State in the USA, which give this wine its characteristic cooler climate aromas of Green apple skin, with fresh lemon zest, with honey drizzled over a fresh juicy pear and a slight spicyness, hinting to its origins as a pink skinned grape. This wine will be a medium to full bodied white wine, that is slightly less acidic than it's Pinot Grigio sibling.
Tip: - You can bulk age it with oak spirals to give an extra complexity of vanilla and buttery notes, with extra oak tannins. The French would traditionally age Pinot Gris in oak barrels.
This wine is great served chilled on it's own or accompanying seafood, chicken, pork and especially good with a full flavoured strong cheese.
In this kit you get 14 litres of grape concentrate (that you top up to 23 litres with tap water), the perfect yeast for this style of wine and the other ingredients to make sure this wine kit makes you 30 bottles of wine.
While this may seem an expensive kit, it is not when you compare it to the equivalent wine that you can buy in the supermarket or a specialist wine shop. Even with the supermarket deals, you can not buy a bottle cheap of wine cheaper.
This is a very easy kit to make, with simple instructions. It will take up to 8 weeks to make, then bottle and allow to bottle condition for at least 6 months. Then enjoy some of the best wine you can make from a wine kit.
